The Working Actor is a Brighton and Hove-based interactive theatre company led by actor Sophie Methuen-Turner, offering performance training, roleplay services and representation for a group of talented performers.
Its sister company Murder Actually offers immersive murder mysteries with a wide range of personalised plots, suitable for private events such as hen parties and corporate events and public ticketed events. Both options can work well combined with a three course meal.
Both hire local professional actors, who have been seen in Emmerdale, Holby City, Minacious [with Colin Baker and Eric Roberts], Hypericum Films’ I Killed Solomon Reid, and Cold Caller which won Best Thriller at the 8 And A Half Film awards, Gold at international Gold awards and Silver at the Florence Film awards.
Actors also have extensive experience in immersive theatre, working in venues such as Groombridge Place, Gunwharf Quays, Churchill Square, The Grand Hotel Brighton and The Hilton Hotel, and playing characters for West Ham Football team’s family entertainment.
